The versatile new GD125 gooseneck microphone has been designed for use in wet and noisy environments such as oil rigs and ships. Audio quality is maximised by the use of noise cancelling and being omnidirectional the signal is independent of operator location.
To ensure reliable and consistent operation in marine and other wet environments it has ‘Ingress Protection’ certification to IP67 – certified for dust ingress and water resistance up to 1 metres and 30 minutes.
Further durability is ensured due to the shockproof design and its corrosion resistance.
For safe use in hazardous environments the microphone is antistatic and is supplied as standard with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable insulation which emits limited smoke and no halogen when exposed to high sources of heat.
The GD125 microphone can be customised for customer’s specific requirements. Cable length and cable connectors can be supplied as requested and other design parameters such as gooseneck length can be tailored for specific user’s applications.
